ARIA Awards 2025: Live updates from huge Australian music awards celebrating best songs and artists in Sydney

LIVE UPDATES: The red carpet has been rolled out for Australian music’s night of nights, where the country’s best in the biz will be awarded for their incredible talent.
This year’s sold-out event is set to be a night that showcases the best homegrown music Australia has to offer, with a stellar line-up of performers and hosts coming together to make the ARIAs the biggest night of the year in Aussie music.
Nova FM presenter Tim Blackwell and Triple J’s Concetta Caristo are co-hosting the star-studded event taking place at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday evening.
Rounding out the 2025 hosting team will be Latifa Tee, with Georgie Tunny and Angela Bishop bringing all the style and highlights from the red carpet.
The artist with the most nominations is Ninajirachi, who is up for eight awards following the release of her debut album I Love My Computer.
She is up for nominations in major categories like Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist, Best Independent and Electronic Release.
Other artists up for big awards include Amyl and The Sniffers, Missy Higgins, Kylie Minogue, Rufus Du Sol, Dom Dolla, Paul Kelly, The Kid Laroi, Hilltop Hoods and Royel Otis.
Providing the entertainment for the night is British singing sensation Olivia Dean along with several Aussie artists such as G Flip, Keli Hoilday, Kita Alexander, Missy Higgins and Thelma Plum.

Aussie pop singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Queensland took to the stage in a red dress to sing ‘Press Pause.’
Ms Alexander told Women in Pop “’Press Pause’ is about the quiet power of being present for someone when their world feels like it’s falling apart.”

Ninajirachi in the spotlight
Aussie electronic star Ninajirachi, who has made music since the age of twelve has got a special mention as she has 8 nominations including album of the year for I Love My Computer [NLV Records].
