Fans are threatening to boycott Harry Styles’ Together Together tour after discovering the “insane” ticket prices during the first wave of global presales.

Styles announced his long-awaited return to the stage last week, revealing a sprawling tour that will see him perform at least 50 shows across Amsterdam, London, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne and Sydney between May and December 2026.

He will stage an impressive 30 shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, his only US appearances, along with a six-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The tour will finish in Australia, marking his first local shows since Love on Tour wrapped in 2023.

Ticket prices were finally revealed on Tuesday when the American Express presale opened for the Amsterdam, London and New York shows, sparking immediate backlash.

While many of the singer’s fans have been excited for his return, many are saying the costs have left them shocked, frustrated and unsure whether they’ll be able to see him at all.

In Amsterdam, seated tickets started at €74.05 ($127), with the most expensive standing package coming in at an eye-watering €828.62 ($1425). Meanwhile, for the Wembley Stadium shows, tickets range from £72.95 ($142.50) to £725.45 ($1435).

For comparison, tickets to Styles’ Love on Tour 2023 show started at £50.65 ($100.25) for side view seating, with prices going up to £326.30 ($645) for a standing ticket.

Over in New York, however, fans are furious that seated tickets are now on sale for as much as $US1179.40 ($1706), coming in more expensive than the most premium VIP package, which is priced at $US1151.70 ($1667).

Fans have taken to social media to slam the singer, with fans calling the ticket prices “gross” and “greed at its finest”.

“This is why I’m boycotting the tour”, one frustrated fan wrote on Reddit.

“This always just makes me so sad. Some of my best memories from my younger years are going to concerts, and now they’re just completely unattainable. Way to alienate the fandom there, dude,” penned another.

Over on X, another fan said she feels like she’s being “forced to outgrow concerts because of how inaccessible they are”.

“Every artist, no matter who, always has a presale queue of 100k+ and ‘prices’ are a month’s rent...I’m so over this.”

“This is insane, especially when you know the majority of people attending are already paying for flights, hotels and other accommodation to travel to a city to see you,” wrote another, referring to the fact that many fans will have to travel to Styles’ shows as he has skipped many cities around the world.

Even Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher took a swipe at the Watermelon Sugar singer, simply tweeting, “HOW MUCH” as social media erupted with anger.

When do Harry Styles tickets go on sale in Australia?

American Express cardholders can access the Amex presale from Tuesday, January 27, at 2pm for both Melbourne and Sydney shows. No code is required; however, an American Express card is needed to complete the purchase.

Fans who pre-ordered Styles’ new album, Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, will also have presale access at the same time.

The next opportunity fans will have is on Thursday, January 29, when the Live Nation presale kicks off at 2pm, before the general on-sale begins on Friday, January 30, at 11am.
