How much Kylie Minogue is getting paid for her 2026 AFL grand final halftime show
Kylie Minogue is set to cash in on AFL grand final day.
Kylie Minogue is reportedly in for a massive payday for her highly anticipated performance at this year’s AFL grand final.
The 57-year-old pop princess is set to perform her most popular hits in front of a packed crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on September 26.
It’s believed she is set to receive a huge $3 million pay cheque for the 20-minute half-time show, according to New Idea.

“Not ideal to have AFL in the middle of a Kylie concert, but I’ll take it,” one fan said.
“That’s so sweet of Kylie to let them play their little game during her concert,” another teased.
Some fans also suggested the high-profile stage had been screaming out for more Australian performers in recent years.

Last year, Snoop Dogg headlined the AFL grand final half-time show alongside Australian artists Tash Sultana and Baker Boy.
In 2024, Katy Perry performed alongside Tina Arena, Cody Simpson and Christine Anu.
Minogue said she was thrilled to be “coming home” for the grand final.
“As a Melburnian, I’m so excited to be coming home for the biggest day in the Aussie sporting calendar.”
“I’ll not only be performing, but I’ll be one of 100,000 fans at the ‘G, watching the wonder that is footy.”
Minogue has never publicly announced which AFL team she supports and, in 2014, claimed she supports “a few different teams”.
“I get it from my mother, she barracks for a few different teams,” she said after being presented with a Geelong jumper at a fan event.
“My brother is a staunch Bombers supporter and my sister’s little boy is Hawthorn.
“But I’m Geelong today.”
Minogue, who began her music career in the late 1980s, has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, had nine Australian number one albums, and has won 18 ARIA Awards and two Grammys.
