Nicole Kidman breaks silence after shock divorce from Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman has made her first public appearance since filing for divorce from country musician Keith Urban.
The Oscar-winning actress submitted divorce papers last Tuesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” only a day after it was rumoured the couple had split.
Kidman attended amFAR’s auction in Dallas on Saturday (local time), where she presented Taylor Sheridan, the creator of western drama Yellowstone, with an award.

“What better way to support, to elevate our common humanity than to help fund bold and innovative research,” she added.
Appearing in high spirits, Kidman smiled and laughed with the crowd as she took the stage.
The Nine Perfect Strangers star previously worked with Sheridan on the thriller series Special Ops: Lioness.
The actress’s appearance comes just days after Urban was spotted for the first time since the split, and noticeably without his wedding ring.
The 57-year-old singer was photographed on Thursday last week getting off a private jet in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
In a video published by 7NEWS, the musician wore sunglasses and a black baseball cap, carrying a brown bag as he headed to the Giant Centre in Hershey for his October 2 concert. His left hand was clearly ring-free.
When Urban took the stage, he reportedly made a significant change to the set list for the evening and left out a song that is closely associated with his marriage to Kidman.
Previous shows on the tour have featured his hit single, The Fighter, which has been seen as a tribute to Kidman, but the song was scrapped at the latest gig.
It was a big call, given the 2016 smash hit has more than three million in sales in the US alone.
Meanwhile, Kidman was spotted hiking in Nashville with her sister Antonia on October 1, a day after the news broke.
“She’s been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it,” a family source told People.
“But she’s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it’s out she’s just focused on what’s ahead and her girls.”
The pair share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
