Oasis fans in Australia are waking to the news they have dreamt of for 19 years.

Noel and Liam Gallagher will bring their highly anticipated Oasis Live ‘25 concert to Australia in 2025.

The tour is set to visit only two Australian cities, Melbourne and Sydney, with all other states missing out on their own shows.

When is Oasis playing in Australia?

Live Nation has announced two Oasis shows in Australia:

  • Friday, 31 October 2025, at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne
  • Friday, 7 November 2025, at Accor Stadium in Sydney

At this stage, fans in Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland have been snubbed and they will need to make plans to travel if they can get their hands on tickets.

These two shows leave plenty of room for additional dates to be added, though whether Oasis or Live Nation plans to do so is unknown.

When are Oasis Live ‘25 tickets on sale?

Pre-sale tickets will be available through a ballot, with sales starting on Monday, 14 October, at 10pm AEDT.

General public sales will begin on Tuesday, 15 October, at 10am AEDT for Melbourne and 12pm AEDT for Sydney.

To access the Oasis Live ‘25 fan pre-sale, hopeful concert-goers must register their details online from Tuesday, 8 October, between 8am AEDT and Wednesday, 9 October, at 8am AEDT.

The band stressed that “success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets”

How to buy Oasis Australia tickets

General public tickets will sold through Ticketmaster.

Fans are urged to create an account with the ticket seller ahead of time as the websites will be very busy during when tickets go on sale.

Noel and Liam Gallagher revealed in August Oasis would reform after breaking up 15 years ago, and decades of bitter feuding between the brothers.

The band initially announced 14 concerts across the UK and Ireland in London, Dublin, Cardiff, Edinburgh and, of course, their hometown of Manchester. Feverish demand saw three extra shows added before tickets went on sale.

The ticket-buying process was a debacle with fans experiencing frustrating online queues that ran into the hundreds of thousands while trying to secure tickets for a single venue that only held 90,000 people.

There were also numerous reports of would-be ticket buyers waiting hours before reaching the front, only for Ticketmaster’s system to accuse them of being a bot and kicking them back to the end of the line.

The use of dynamic pricing drew the ire of fans and the band itself, with even standing tickets priced at £355 ($687) despite being publicly advertised at £148 ($286), and including no extra benefits or access.

In response, the band issued a statement. It said, “While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

“All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.”

The European Commission announced it would investigate the impact of dynamic pricing following the torrent of complaints. This would apply only to the EU which includes Ireland.
