Shockwaves have been sent through the South Korean music community after a pop star suddenly died aged 30.
Korean pop star Park Bo Ram was found dead by her friends, aged just 30, after spending a night drinking with them.
According to the DailyMail, she is the latest South Korean singer to die young.

She was rushed to hospital but tragically died about an hour after she was found.
Police have now launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
A South Korean news outlet reports she was drinking with her friends at the time — when she is said to have gone to the bathroom but never returned.
She was reportedly found slouched over the bathroom sink when her friends became concerned and went looking for her.
Park is not the first young South Korean singer to die in recent years.
Last year, 25-year-old singer Moonbin was found dead in his apartment. His death was put down to suicide.
Choi Sung-bong — who was 33 — also died in a likely suicide in 2023.
Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf reports South Korea has the highest suicide rate among young people in the world’s developed countries.
