American actress Christina Applegate reveals her father Robert has died
American actress Christina Applegate has broken down while revealing her father Robert has passed away.
The 53-year-old shared the devastating news during an episode of her and Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s podcast MeSsy, but kept details of his passing private.
“You’re probably wondering why I’m crying right now,” Applegate said.

She said it was the first time she had a moment to actually process his passing.
“I think I wasn’t allowing myself to have that (moment) yet, too busy with this, too busy with that.
“We knew he was going to die. Is that an excuse for not feeling because you know someone’s going to go? And you’ve said your goodbyes.”
Sigler also opened up about the death of her parents years ago, saying she feels cheated that she didn’t get more time with them.
She said having to switch the life support off for both her mum and dad was a traumatic experience.
