Jules Neale is determined to erase ex-husband Lachie Neale from her life after revealing plans to cover up a tattoo she originally got to show her love for the AFL star.

The 36-year-old stunned in all red for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, where she was interviewed by The Daily Mail about her plans to get more tattoos.

Jules also revealed that she was looking at covering up Lachie’s ‘L’ initial on her hand after beginning the process of its removal in June.

“I’m already booked in for two more (tattoos), little ones, not going crazy, a couple of friendship ones and maybe a cover-up job,” she told the outlet.

“I have an initial on my hand that might need to be changed and I’m also getting 11:11 on my arm because I’m quite spiritual.

“I’m a little bit of a woo-woo girl and 11:11 has been pretty prominent this year.

Spiritual gurus believe that regularly seeing “angel number” 11:11 throughout life symbolises a spiritual awakening and new beginnings.

Jules also broke her silence on Lachie not returning to WA despite being offered a three-year contract with the West Coast Eagles worth approximately $900,000 per season — instead signing on with the Collingwood Magpies.

“I would have preferred him to be closer to the kids, but he’s going to make his own decisions,” she told The Herald Sun.

The mum-of-two also revealed the meaning behind her recent matching rose tattoo she got with her brother.

“He’s my baby brother, I actually have three brothers, but he’s the youngest of them,” she said.

“We chose the rose because it symbolises growing through life together, which we thought was pretty symbolic for siblings and yeah, I love it.

“I just think it’s such a fun thing to do; it’s kind of hidden today, which is a shame, but I love it. I feel like a tough biker chick with my, like, one tattoo.”

It comes after Jules was seen getting laser treatment on the ‘L’ tattoo in a video shared on Instagram in June.

The caption read: “Getting rid of what no longer serves us . . . even if it was meant to be permanent.”

Jules entered her new life chapter at the end of 2025 after she moved from Brisbane to Perth with her young children following her marriage breakdown.

The Neales went their separate ways after seven years together following allegations Lachie had an affair with Jules friend Tess Crosley.

In August, both women conducted individual podcast interviews to tell their own side of the story and attempt to set the record straight.

While she was in Melbourne on Tuesday, Jules also discussed how she and her kids had finally settled into their new house in Fremantle.

“We’re settled into our routine, I think next year will be really nice just kind of continuing that,” she told nine.com.au.
