American YouTuber Daniel Coleman has shared his heartbreak after the death of his 14-year-old son Isaac.

Mr Coleman, the creator behind the educational YouTube account for kids, Danny Go!, announced in a statement that his teen boy had lost his battle with a rare mouth cancer.

“Oh my sweet boy,” Mr Coleman began the post on Instagram.

“There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process.

“But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride.”

The influencer added that Isaac put up a fight after it was revealed in December that he had mouth cancer following being diagnosed with Fanconi anaemia, a rare inherited condition that affects bone marrow and other parts of the body.

“Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit … and you somehow kept your trademark joy despite it all,” he continued.

“You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac!

“Remembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort.

“Being your dad was the honour of a lifetime. I’m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.”

Mr Coleman and wife Mindy also share another son, Levi. Isaac was their eldest child.

The family have received an outpouring of love and support in the comments section from high-profile figures in the entertainment industry.

The Wiggles said: “Sending so much love to you all.

“We are deeply sorry for the loss of your son, Isaac. There are no words for a pain like this.

“Having experienced the loss of a child ourselves, our hearts ache for you in a way that words cannot really express. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.

“We are sending you love, strength, and support as you face the days ahead,” Jools TV wrote.

“We’re so sorry for your loss, Danny. Sending your family so much love during this time,” Children’s Youtube channel Cocomelon added.

Mr Coleman provided updates on Isaac’s condition throughout his health battle, announcing in February that due to several Fanconi-related complexities, Isaac’s treatment options were “much more limited than in typical paediatric cancer”.

According to Australian Cancer Trials, people who have Fanconi’s anaemia are at a higher risk of developing cancers, leukaemia and bone marrow failure.

The news resulted in Mr Coleman cancelling the remainder of his Danny Go! tour.

Two months later in April, the Coleman family was rocked by a sharp decline in Isaac’s condition.

“Mindy and I are heartbroken watching him decline, knowing how frustrating and scary this must be for him,” Coleman wrote at the time.

“But we’re trying to hold it all together and keep soaking up the time we still have with our boy.”

DannyGo! was launched on YouTube in 2021 and has since gained more than 4.5 million subscribers.
