Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo reportedly file for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage, IVF journey
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have reportedly filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have reportedly filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage marred by a cheating scandal in 2018.
The country music singer and the adult content creator-turned-podcaster are going their separate ways after Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 18, according to court records cited by TMZ.
It comes as a shock for fans after the couple regularly share their love for each other publicly, with Jelly Roll most recently thanking his wife for life support at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

“I want to thank my beautiful wife,” he said.
“I would have never changed my life without you. I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus. I thank you for that.”
Xo was also by her husband’s side throughout his dramatic weight loss, which saw him lose about 136 kilograms.

The couple’s relationship began more than 10 years ago after they met at one of Jelly Roll’s concerts in 2015.
One year later, Jelly Roll proposed to Xo — whose real name is Alisa DeFord — while on stage in Las Vegas in 2016. That same night, the pair secretly got married at a courthouse.
In 2023, the couple renewed their wedding vows.
Their relationship has been far from perfect, with Jelly Roll admitting to an affair that took place early on in their marriage, calling his behaviour “one of the worst moments of my adulthood”.
Xo’s 2026 memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic revealed Jelly Roll had cheated on her for 10 months in 2018.
“A lot of people are like, ‘Why didn’t you leave?’ And I’m like, ‘I did leave’. I did leave him, and we were split for about 30 days,” she told People in January.
“But I just loved that man so much that I just really, truly believe that he deserved a second chance.”
She helped raise his two children — daughter Bailee Ann DeFord and son Noah Buddy DeFord — and in February Xo opened up about how the couple were trying for their first child together through IVF.
The Dumb Blonde podcast host called the infertility journey “one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through.”
“So God is… Everything happens for a reason. It always comes around full circle,” she said.
Jelly Roll revealed their decision to turn to IVF during a June 2024 appearance on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast.
“My wife and I are talking about having a baby,” he said at the time.
“It really made me realise at almost 40, I was like, that means I got to live to at least 60 — I got to see this kid into college.”
