Aussie model and actor Ruby Rose is “no longer able to comment” on the explosive claims she made towards Katy Perry at the weekend after accusing the pop star of sexually assaulting her in Australia almost 20 years ago.

Talking to social media site Threads on Tuesday night to share an update with fans, Rose, 40, said the development was a result of her finalising reports with police regarding the alleged incident.

“As of this afternoon, I have finalised all of my reports. This means I am no longer able to comment, reports, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved,” Rose wrote.

“It’s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people’s experiences, but I’m not.”

The Orange Is the New Black star said she welcomed the edict from authorities to stay silent on the matter.

“This is a standard request from the police in many ways, quite the relief,” Rose added.

“I can start the healing process now. And temporarily (sic) move forward. I love you all so much.”

The claim was made via a Complex Music social media post that referenced Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance at the weekend.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a sh** what she thinks,” Rose responded.

The outspoken figure appeared as a presenter for MTV Australia between 2007-2011, before pursuing an acting and modelling career in the US.

A representative for Perry vehemently denied the allegations in a statement to Page Six.

“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” it said.

“Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Rose provided further context on Threads, explaining the alleged incident, initially brushing it off as a “funny little drunk story”.

“(Perry) didn’t kiss me. She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friend’s lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her,” she said.

“After it I threw up on her, I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person.”

Victorian Police have confirmed they are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010, and are therefore unable to comment further at this stage.

With Perry’s past behaviour in question, a resurfaced interview on Conan O’Brien’s late night show from 2014 features a playful Anna Kendrick illustrating a similar encounter.

“Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night,” Kendrick teased, “She’s very mature.”

When the host asked if Perry “just does that”, Kendrick suggested her gown was “kinda’ asking for it”.

“If nobody had done it, I would’ve been a little sad,” she added.
