Cody, who already shares sons Charlie and Max with partner Lucia, said the boys are “so pumped” about the new arrival, having enjoyed time with their one-year-old nephew.
The 28-weeks-pregnant Lucia recently had a scan confirming the news. “We’ve had a scan, no need for a DNA test. That is a big ol’ head in there. That is my son,” Cody revealed.
The conversation turned to the realities of expanding the family, with plenty of laughs about sleepless nights, nappies making a comeback, and Cody’s plans to continue his Crusher tour until September, just before the baby’s arrival.
Cody also joked about building his own footy team: “That’s the plan. Three boys? Yeah, hopefully they don’t play like their dads.”
Congratulations poured in from listeners and colleagues following the on-air reveal, with many noting the joy of adding to the family after the couple’s two young boys.
Cody and Lucia are yet to share further details publicly, but the radio family made it clear this is a much-anticipated and celebrated chapter ahead.
