Robert Irwin sparks dating rumours with Brendan Fevola’s daughter after filming for iconic reality show

Brendan Fevola questioned his daughter Mia Fevola this week about rumours linking her to Robert Irwin following her appearance on I’m A Celebrity...Get me out of here!

Mia, 26, appeared on Fevola’s Fifi, Fev & Nick radio program to discuss her time filming the series in South Africa when the topic was raised.

“What’s going on with Bob Irwin?” Fevola asked during the interview.

Mia responded that there was nothing between them before stating she felt she had been “set up” by the question.

Co-host Nick Coady compared the exchange to a parent questioning their child about a potential romantic interest, while Fifi Box explained that Fevola had seen online speculation linking the pair.

During the segment, Fevola joked that a relationship would have financial benefits, referencing Irwin’s family background.

“Mate, I could be part owner in a zoo,” he joked.

The interrogation comes a week after Robert Irwin appeared on the popular radio station where he spoke about the upcoming season of ‘I’m A Celeb’.

The comments followed a report by Woman’s Day, which claimed the pair developed a close rapport during filming.

An unnamed source told the publication that Irwin had been impressed by Mia and was reportedly nervous around her.

The source also stated that Mia had watched Irwin’s recent appearance on Dancing With The Stars US, as well as his Bonds advertising campaign that erupted a lot of chatter online.

It was further claimed the interest was mutual.

Mia has previously confirmed she is single following her split from long-term Melbourne partner Bass Miller in July.

Earlier reports also suggested producers attempted to create a story line involving Mia and Matt Zukowski, the former husband of Tammy Hembrow, but that no relationship eventuated.

An unnamed source told Daily Mail Australia that Mia was not interested in pursuing a romance with Zukowski and was cautious following past relationships.

It comes after Robert Irwin was linked to American actress Xochitl Gomez late last year after the pair reportedly grew close on the set of Dancing With The Stars.

The duo reportedly grew close on set a source claimed with Irwin even inviting the Marvel Star, 19, to the premiere of Zootopia 2 in November.

However on January 12, the rumours were shut down when Robert confirmed he was currently single on The Today Show.

It is believed that Robert returning to his home of Australia Zoo could’ve been the reason his sparks with Gomez cooled down with the actress being based in her native, the U.S.

But fresh hope is in sight for Irwin and Fevola as Mia is based in Melbourne — a much closer distance to Irwin’s Australia Zoo.
