Timothee Chalamet has been actively building a Hollywood empire through his growing list of acting accomplishments, but the star’s romantic act at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night suggests he’s firmly entrenched himself within another as a member of the Kardashian clan.

The 30-year-old accepted the award for Best Actor for his fictionalised portrayal of table tennis sensation Marty Reisman in Marty Supreme, and after addressing the film’s cast, crew and fellow nominees, offered a touching tribute to girlfriend Kylie Jenner for her unwavering support during his meteoric rise.

“Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” a nervous Chalamet proclaimed in the company of industry heavyweights.

Those questioning what he meant by “our foundation” are not alone, with The Housemaid star Amanda Seyfriend admitting on a social media thread that she was also a little confused after learning that he had been referring to the pair’s strong bond.

“OH not like a foundation/charity I was curious about that,” she wrote.

The high profile couple have rarely spoken openly about their relationship, with this gesture the first time Chalamet has outright thanked Jenner, 28, in an awards speech.

However, the cosmetics entrepreneur and media personality has become a regular companion to Chalamet at awards shows in the past 12 months.

The smitten couple made their red carpet debut together at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in May 2025, though Jenner had earlier sat alongside her acting beau at the Golden Globes in January.

A mother of two, Jenner has kids Stormi and Aire with former partner and rap star Travis Scott.

The night was also a triumphant one for Aussies, with Jacob Elordi winning Best Supporting Actor for his metamorphosis in Frankenstein, and Sarah Snook for Best Actress in a Limited Series for her work in All Her Fault.

While One Battle After Another — a star-studded Oscars front-runner — landed multiple awards including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Director for revered filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.
