TV Week Editorial Director Amber Giles said this year’s crop of nominees are a worthy bunch from a stacked cast of Australian on-screen talent.
“This year’s nominations are a genuine celebration of how extraordinary Australian television has become,” she said.
“From free-to-air favourites to the streaming shows everyone has been talking about, the breadth and quality of original Australian storytelling on our screens right now is something to be proud of.
These are your awards, so if a show or a star has moved you, made you laugh or kept you up past your bedtime, make your voice heard and vote!”
The beloved awards ceremony will be broadcast live and exclusively on Channel Seven and 7Plus with Australia’s favourite son Robert Irwin hosting the event on August 16.
Nominees for the coveted Gold Logie and Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter will be announced later today.
Voting opens at 7am and will remain open until 7pm Saturday, August 15.
