Two Channel 7 worlds are set to collide on Wednesday night as Matt Shirvington and Natalie Barr prepare to make their Home and Away debuts.

As the studio meets the sea, former track star Shirvo laps up Summer Bay’s golden sands to interview a Hollywood starlet who’s been making waves herself in the coastal community.

Playing himself, the athlete-turned-TV presenter will then cross back ‘live’ to Nat in Sunrise’s new state-of-the-art facility in Sydney.

The venture out of the focused studio light and into the Sydney sunshine might be a welcome change for Shirvo who appears to maintain a bronze tan year-round.

Framed on the famous coastline, the presenter will be outshone by A-lister Stevie Marlow, played by Catherine Van-Davies, who has brought unprecedented attention to the community since arriving.

Drawing upon the community for security and support, the actress continues to send the Bay into a buzz as her rom-com attracts significant media interest.

In an exciting case of reality meets TV meets Hollywood, the moment threatens to tangle cult figure Alf Stewart up in the process.

Home and Away airs 7pm, Monday to Thursday on Channel 7 and 7plus.
