The potential appearance of a certain “headline-grabbing Olympian” on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has sent fans of the show into a head spin.

Teasing the next season’s cast in an Instagram post on Thursday, viewers immediately speculated as to the possible TV return for polarising Aussie breakdancer Raygun.

But they made one thing very clear — it wouldn’t be a welcome one.

“A headline-grabbing Olympian has a ticket to the African wilds! 🎟️”, the caption read.

Featuring hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris, the post continued to suggest a “freestyle lover” was jungle-bound in Season 7, which is set to air in January.

While some followers posed a number of Olympians worthy of fitting the mould, others threatened to ditch the show altogether should the controversial breakdancer appear.

“Okay, I’m going to assume it’s Raygun,” one person said. “But other freestylers could include: Ariarne Titmus — Freestyle Swimming. Sally Fitzgibbons - Surfing. Torah Bright — Freestyle Snowboarding.”

“Former Olympian Pole Vaulter Liz Parnov,” another suggested.

“I’m boycotting the show if it’s Raygun 🙄,” one person commented.

“If it’s Raygun, I’m not watching 🤷‍♀️,” another claimed.

The reality show drops celebrities into the jungle and forces them to leave their comfort zone.

On Wednesday, the series hinted at an extended list of personalities set to forego their creature comforts in pursuit of a return to fame.

Among the clues were a “stadium superstar”, a “football strongman”, and a “comedy genius”.
