Robert Irwin ‘could be next Bachelor’, headed for modelling career after Dancing With the Stars success
Robert Irwin has been crushing it on the US Dancing with the Stars D-floor and his career could be about to explode, with celebrity agents now circling with some huge opportunities.
The multi-talented 21-year-old, son of the late Steve Irwin, is reportedly openly discussing moving to Los Angeles, at least part time, to make the most of his growing profile and the job offers that are set to roll in.
“He’s being eyed to be a big star and he has a lot of opportunities in Hollywood if he chooses to grab them,” a source close to the wildlife warrior told US Sun.

“He’s being considered for fashion campaigns and other TV shows have their sights set on him, including The Traitors.
“ABC execs on set have joked that Robert should be the next Bachelor. Well, it’s not really a joke.
“They would actually kill to cast Robert in the role and have told him that but he’s just too young.
“If he was about five years older, it’d be a no-brainer.”

Last month, Irwin, for the second consecutive year, claimed the crown of Australia’s most popular broadcast personality, topping the list of stars in the 2025 Australian Talent Index’s Top Talent Report from Talent Corp.
His career has been on the rise since 2013 when he took out the 2013 Logie for Most Popular New Male Talent after starring in the TV series Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors.
A turn as host on the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! and a racy modelling campaign for Bonds featuring a snake, some undies and not much more catapulted him to stardom and helped him shrug off any lingering ideas he was still a child.
Alongside dance partner Witney Carson on DWTS, Irwin has been heating up the dancefloor showing off some sizzling moves.
Famously, he ripped off his shirt to show off his six pack abs for a sexy salsa, prompting judge Carrie Ann Inaba to note he is “all grown up”.

Despite the growing attention, though, Irwin seems to have remained humble, with dad Steve and his family always on his mind.
Last week he posted on Instagram a throwback photo of when his sister Bindi won DWTS in 2015, featuring a young Robert with mum Terri, Bindi and her dance partner Derek Hough.
“Wish I could tell this kid that one day he’d finally get to live out that dream! Beyond grateful for this experience, it has already been everything I hoped for and more”.
During a heartfelt interview last month he opened up about the grief of losing his father and the powerful legacy he continues to carry forward.
Irwin was only two-years-old when dad Steve died in 2006 after he was stabbed by a stingray barb while filming on the Great Barrier Reef.
“When you lose someone like that so young,” Irwin said on the Viall Files podcast, “one of the most important things in my life and one of the things I would really seek out is any kind of connection that I can sort of reclaim to my dad”.
He said “To celebrate dad, to celebrate the person he is, to continue what he loves is the honour of a lifetime.”
