Barr added: “Josie is a little sister for Maya, who is already loving being a big sister.

“We’re looking forward to meeting Josie real soon.”

Tapper was flooded with congratulations.

“Josie! Welcome to the world sweet girl. We’re thrilled for you all and look forward to a babycino sometime soon,” Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac wrote.

“She’s here!! Looks like Josie already has her pussycats wrapped around her tiny finger. Congrats to you all,” The Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies wrote.

“Huge congrats to you all ... lots of luv,” fellow host Larry Emdur added.

Tapper often works on The Morning Show, with the hosts also speaking about the birth on air on Thursday.

“(I’m) very upset, he (Liam) did say he was going to name the baby Kylie so whatever,” Emdur said in reference to Gillies.

In May, Tapper gave insight into his idyllic family life, sharing the sweet Father’s Day gift he got from Maya.

“A belated Father’s Day gift ... Maya and I spent the afternoon painting these mugs from Georgia, hopefully we’ll be drinking cups of tea, coffee and whatever else for years to come.

“Safe to say my cup is very full.”
