Brooklyn Beckham has sparked fresh speculation of a Beckham family rift after covering up a tattoo once dedicated to his mother, Victoria.

The 27-year-old eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham recently posed shirtless for Glamour Germany alongside wife Nicola Peltz, revealing a notable change to his body art.

A chest tattoo that once read “mama’s boy” was nearly invisible — now obscured by a large floral design that appears to echo Nicola’s bridal bouquet.

Brooklyn originally got the “mama’s boy” tattoo in 2018, but the cover-up suggests a shift in priorities — and comes amid reports of ongoing tension between the couple and Brooklyn’s famous family.

Rumours of a feud began circulating in 2022, ahead of Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish wedding.

At the time, it was reported that Nicola had planned to wear a custom gown from Victoria Beckham’s label, but ultimately chose a Valentino design.

HELLO magazine reported Nicola as saying that initial discussions with Victoria’s team fell silent.

“We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything,” she said.

“Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.” Nicola added that while her in-laws were “great,” she felt hurt by claims she had never intended to wear a Victoria Beckham gown.

Since then, the family narrative has continued to unfold subtly on social media.

Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz, 20, recently posted a cryptic message to Instagram: “It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.”

In May, Cruz shared a heartfelt throwback photo with his parents, captioned: “I love my family, I love you guys more than anything… I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives.”

Meanwhile, Brooklyn posted a video with Nicola riding a motorbike beneath palm trees — seemingly a nod to their independence.

“My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby,” he wrote.

“You’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”

While no family member has directly confirmed a feud, the tattoo update and contrasting social media messages suggest the drama within the Beckham household is far from over.
