Man dies, another injured after structure collapses at Inala residence in southwest Brisbane

One man has died after a structure collapsed in southwest Brisbane.

Emergency services were called to Goldfinch St in Inala about 10.20am on Saturday following reports a structure at a residential property had come down.

Queensland Ambulance Service said a man in his 50s suffered life-threatening head injuries and was treated at the scene, but police later confirmed he died there.

Another man, also in his 50s, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with head injuries.

Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
