One lucky Australian has begun 2025 on a prosperous note after scoring a huge Lotto win.
The Aussie managed to choose seven winning numbers plus the Powerball, landing them with a staggering $20,809,257.29 division one win.
Division two produced two winners who will each pocket a cool $241,154.45.

The winning numbers for draw #1494 are 21, 27, 9, 22, 15, 18 and 8. The Powerball is 19.
Lotto luck comes after two Aussies closed out 2024 on a high after winning more than $200,000 in the Boxing Day Powerball draw.
