A man who claims to have the world’s smallest penis has launched a fundraiser in an effort to undergo an enlargement procedure.
Michael Phillips, from North Carolina, has gained international attention for his micropenis.
The 38-year-old claims the condition means his penis measures only 0.97cm, or 0.3 inches, when fully erect — a feat he says makes his penis the smallest in the world.

After months of growing discussions about his member, the American has decided to use his platform to raise funds for an elongation procedure on his genitals.
On his fundraising page, Mr Phillips called the condition a “source of daily frustration and embarrassment”.
“I have worked hard to save as much as I can towards the cost of surgery and injections that could increase my girth and allow me to urinate more normally,” he wrote.
“While this procedure will not cure my micropenis, it would make a significant difference in my daily life.”

Complete penis reconstructions, or phalloplasties, are typically recommended for males with penises under three inches and are often done for either cosmetic or restorative reasons.
Only 0.6 per cent of the world’s male population possesses a micropenis, with the vast majority not requiring surgical intervention.
Mr Phillip’s procedure is said to additionally involve an injection of semi-permanent dermal filler into his phallus to add extra girth.
The procedure throws a spanner into his record-holding dreams, with the 38-year-old revealing only four months ago that he was researching how he could win a Guinness World Record for smallest penis ever.
The world record organisation has since stated they do not measure human sexual organs, however Mr Phillips has encouraged any man who thinks they have a smaller weiner than him to come forth for a literal dick-measuring contest.
Mr Phillips has already raised more than $9000 of his $13,000 goal within seven hours of the page’s launch.
