Now, the family is offering what listing agent Davide Lettieri describes as being "one of the finest homes in the tightly held Urquhart Estate precinct."

Set on approximately 686sqm, the solid brick Victorian residence stands out within the prized period streetscape. It showcases a slate roof, bullnose iron lacework, tessellated tile verandah, coloured leadlight glass and a tuckpointed brick faade with a bay window reflecting Victorian-era gothic styling.

Inside, the designer-styled interiors blend heritage character with a high-end contemporary renovation. The traditional front rooms feature soaring ceilings with roses and cornices, while pale Baltic pine floors flow past a formal sitting room anchored by a marble open fireplace.

The floorplan includes four double bedrooms, with the main suite offering a walk-in robe and ensuite, alongside a family bathroom, laundry and mudroom. Central lightwells connect the original home to a substantial rear extension, where vaulted ceilings and expansive windows flood the open-plan living and dining domain with natural light.

A sleek entertainer's kitchen is appointed with stone benchtops and premium Smeg appliances, opening to a deck and covered barbecue area overlooking a private garden shaded by established trees. An auto-gated driveway provides off-street parking, while additional features include hydronic heating, reverse-cycle air conditioning, video intercom, alarm system, plantation shutters, ample storage and a children's cubby house.
The Urquhart Estate location places the home within easy reach of Glenferrie Road's shops, restaurants and the Lido Cinema, as well as the Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Auburn Village, Gardiners Creek trails and leading schools including Scotch College and Swinburne University of Technology. CityLink access further enhances its family appeal.
