Set on 1,870 square metres, the property near Launceston at 3 Rochester Court in Riverside, includes a five-hole putting green, an indoor golf simulator, a full-sized tennis court, a gym, a theatre room and a bar.

Rice, 44, entered MAFS Australia as a substitute groom for contestant Lauren Hall, after her first marriage to "runaway groom" Eliot Donovan ended after three days.

While the relationship didn't last either, Rice went on to find love with another one of the show's brides, Jacqui Burfoot, who announced their engagement in April 2025.

Set across two levels, the floorplan is specifically designed for entertaining downstairs and daily living upstairs.

"I had a designer from Hobart who I worked with for about 18 months to get it right because it is a unique-shaped property," Rice told View.com.au.

"It was about fitting everything I wanted in a build on that particular piece of land.

"I have lived in a bunch of different places over the years, throughout the mainland and overseas as well, and I basically incorporated all elements that I've liked in places into the one property and pretty much nailed it."

The main bedroom is a king-sized suite with a large dressing room and a luxurious ensuite with a double shower, double vanity, underfloor heating and a skylight.

"It is one of my favourite places in the house," he said.

"The bedroom flows into a dressing room and that goes into the ensuite with a walk-in shower, so it's like its own retreat you can hang out in.

"It's such a nice space and overlooks the tennis court."

Two additional bedrooms include large built-in robes and the main bathroom has a bathtub, a limestone-topped vanity and an oversized shower with a skylight.

Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, living area overlooks the tennis court, putting green, and opens to the east-facing deck with views across the Tamar River and mountain ranges.

The kitchen features dolomite stone benches, a butler's pantry, two Smeg pyrolytic ovens, a Smeg induction cooktop and an integrated Liebherr fridge and freezer.

The five-hole putting green is fully drained at each hole and professionally designed by Nicklaus Design.

The property also features extensive automation including entry gates, air conditioning, lighting and electrical all controlled directly from a phone app.

"I had the next owners in mind when I was building it, so it could suit a family with kids, a professional couple or retirees," he said.

"It caters for such a wide audience and even being a three bedroom house, there are a couple of spaces that could be turned into bedrooms.

"If you didn't want the gym, you could convert that into two bedrooms.

"It's also low maintenance and the gardens are specifically designed for that, there are no lawns to be treated and it's a property designed for someone with a busy lifestyle."

With the couple set to move to Queensland, the property is on the market with Andrew Macdonald at The Agency Launceston.

"We are going to relocate to Queensland to Sanctuary Cove at Hope Island in particular," he said.

"I have a bunch of mates up there that I used to play on tour with and it's just a great location."
