Gogglebox Australia favourite Jad Nehmetallah is set to offload his apartment in Sydney's Rose Bay.

Jad, who has starred on the popular TV show alongside long-time friend Matty and his wife Sarah Marie since 2017, is selling the three-bedroom unit at 2/5 Onslow Street with Matthew Ettia at Highland Property.

The property is scheduled for auction on July 10 and guided at $1.6 million.

Mr Ettia said Jad and his wife Sarah, who wed in a lavish ceremony at Sydney's St. Mary's Cathedral in February, had originally planned to renovate the property.

The sale includes strata-approved plans for a luxury renovation with a sleek and minimalist design.

Mr Ettia described the property as "the ideal blank canvas".

"It was a property he bought to renovate and move into, but he has decided to buy a house with his partner to be closer to family in another suburb," Mr Ettia said.

"They had it designed for them to live in, so it is all approved, and the plans are drawn up."

The unit is one of six in a 1960s-era block located a short walk to the harbour, Bondi Beach and shops including Harris Farm Markets and Sonoma.

Jad joined Mr Ettia at the property to film a light-hearted reel for Instagram to promote the listing online.

The playful clip shows the Gogglebox Australia star wiping fake tears from his eyes as he meets the agent outside the front entry of the unit block.

Jad jokes: "I didn't mean for you to see me like this, man, I've had so many beautiful memories here, she's been good to me.

"The community, the street, I don't want to let it go."

The pair takes a tour inside, with Jad pointing out the unit's features, including its solid brick construction and spacious kitchen.

"It's great for entertaining, light-filled, massive windows, and a third bedroom, good for guests," he says.

The floor plan spans 144 square metres.

The spacious unit comprises three bedrooms, one bathroom and an open-plan living and dining area that leads to a covered balcony with a leafy outlook.

The separate kitchen has scope for an open-plan redesign.

The bathroom is in its original condition, and the unit includes an internal laundry, plus one secure car parking space and a separate storage room.

"It's very spacious and in a great location," the agent said.

"It's one of only six in a boutique block, and it's attracting a lot of attention from local downsizers and people who already own in the street and want to acquire another property."

Jad and Sarah's wedding followed their engagement in Italy last year after they started dating in 2023.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Jad wrote: "Today was magical, an actual fairy tale. God has blessed me with a real life angel. Sarah, you are the epitome of a woman.

"Beautiful, soft, caring, loving, smart, supportive and funny. You make me feel like a King.

"Today, we stand together on this rooftop, as you've said YES to becoming my Queen. I love you and I can't wait for us to do life together."

Cotality records show Jad purchased the unit in August 2021 for $1.525 million.

The median value of a unit in Rose Bay is $1.74 million.
