The singer and the American football player revealed their engagement on a five-photo joint post.

The engagement has been welcomed widely on social media, with more than 1.8 million likes on their Instagram post in less than 20 minutes.
Swift and Kelce had been dating for two years.
Although it remains unclear when the pair will wed, the union will be lucrative.
The singer has a reported net worth of around $US1.6 billion, while Kelce's is at around $US52 million.
Swift, 35, has amassed an impressive property portfolio of homes during her career.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Shake It Off singer's real estate portfolio is estimated to be worth around $US150 million, spanning New York, LA, Nashville, and Rhode Island.

Kelce also owns multiple properties; however, his property portfolio isn't quite as extensive as his soon-to-be bride's.
Since 2019, the 35-year-old athlete has owned a sprawling mansion in Kansas City.
Located in the Briarcliff West neighbourhood, the property was purchased by Kelce for US$995,000 in 2019.
The property has three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a home theatre, a wine cellar and a pool.

In 2023, Kelce upped his property game after splashing US$6 million on a mansion in a gated community on almost 3.5 acres in Leawood, Kansas.
Among the inclusions are a tennis court, a mini golf course, a six-car garage and a pool.
Lately, Kelce spends much of his time living in a US$20 million rented six-bedroom waterfront mansion in Florida.

Built in 2020 and located in the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club, the luxurious house was last sold in June 2023 for US$15 million.
It comprises six bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, a formal dining room, a media room, a wine cellar and a bar.

The pool is surrounded by lawns and landscaped gardens, alongside an outdoor kitchen, a tennis and pickleball court and a mini golf course.
Rhode Island party house
Swift's property empire includes an oceanfront holiday home in Rhode Island, where the singer hosts her now-famous annual July 4 parties.

At 23, the singer-songwriter splashed US$17.75 million on the property in 2013.
Famous friends who have partied with Swift at the house since she hosted the first event in 2016 include actresses Selena Gomez and Emma Stone, model Gigi Hadid and the sisters from pop band Haim.
There is no shortage of space for guests inside the home, which has eight bedrooms and more than 10 bathrooms.
The home has 213 metres of exclusive waterfront access on five acres of land overlooking the ocean.
Entering the market in Nashville
The country pop superstar's journey into the property market began in 2009 when Swift, then 20, snapped up an apartment in the US country music capital, Nashville, where her family moved to when she was a teen to pursue a music career.

Swift paid US$1.99 million for the industrial-style penthouse in the Adelicia building with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.
That same year, she paid US$387,000 for a one-bedroom apartment directly underneath.
By 22, Swift stepped up her spending after the success of her albums Speak Now and Fearless.

In 2011, she acquired a Greek Revival-style house for US$2.5 million in the gated Northumberland Estate community in Nashville.
The sprawling home features vaulted ceilings, herringbone floors and marble fireplaces.
Making moves in LA
Two years after purchasing her oceanfront mansion in Rhode Island, Swift looked further afield for her next home and found it in Los Angeles.

She joined the glitterati in LA when she splashed US$25 million on a grand 1930s-era estate that once belonged to legendary film producer Samuel Goldwyn.
Swift has since restored the Georgian Revival mansion to its former glory after an extensive renovation of the 10-bedroom property.
A bite of the Big Apple
New York City is a favourite of Swift, who owns multiple properties in the Big Apple, including two penthouses in the trendy Tribeca neighbourhood that she purchased in 2014 from Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson.

She reportedly spent around US$18 million on the properties, which she renovated and combined to create one large residence with 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a billiards room.
The singer didn't look too far for her next property purchase, laying out another US$18 million on a 100-year-old townhouse next door that included a home theatre and a gym.

In 2018, she bought a three-bedroom unit on the second floor in the same building for US$9.75 million.
Home away from home in London
The Cruel Summer singer's collection of homes has extended across to the UK after she was reported to have snapped up a property in London.
Swift previously spent time living in London with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, where the couple rented a townhouse in Primrose Hill, a suburb home to celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Ricky Gervais and Liam Gallagher.
The Bad Blood hitmaker fell in love with the city and reportedly spent around £10 million on a North London mansion in late 2023.
