British-born actor and Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has listed her regional property in the NSW Southern Highlands with a multi-million dollar price tag.

The three-bedroom architecturally designed home set on 62.5ha sits on a spectacular site with views from the highlands to the sea.

Listing agent Bradley Cocks of Drew Lindsay Sotheby's International Realty Bowral has a listing price guide of $3.95 million to $4.2 million for the Robertson property.

The 84-year-old actor discovered the property while filming Babe in 1995. She voiced the character of Fly the sheep dog in the Oscar-nominated film which was filmed in the area.

Her other roles have included that of Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films and more recently Ladies in Lavender with Maggie Smith and Judi Dench.

The property, known as Yarrawa Hill, is a secluded retreat that she has shared with her Australian partner Heather Sutherland.

The actor, who has dual British and Australian citizenship also owns an investment property in Bondi Beach which is currently leased.
