Lily Allen and David Harbour List NYC brownstone amid cheating allegations

Musician Lily Allen and her actor husband David Harbour have put their maximalist New York City brownstone on the market for $7.9 million (AUD $12.1).
While the couple have been separated since February, the listing comes two days after the release of Allen's new album West End Girl.
A number of songs on the album reference their NYC home, infidelity, issues within the marriage and its eventual breakdown.

In 'Nonmonogamummy', the singer references an alleged open relationship that she wasn't happy with: "We built a palace on the perfect street, you really sold me on a dream / And now I'm looking at my Tinder, well, maybe I'm more of a Hinger."

'Pussy Palace' details Allen dropping items at an ex's apartment, only to uncover evidence of cheating: "Don't come home, I don't want you in my bed / Go to the apartment in the West Village instead."
Fans of the celebrity couple will be familiar with the infamous brownstone after it featured in an Architectural Digest house tour.

The video opens with Harbour mock-flirting with the AD crew before he leads them into a home: "What the hell are you doing here? I mean, last time I was single and I was living on the Lower East Side... You look good though, come on in."
The publication describes the home as a "mad, mad, mad, mad world" and a "familial fantasy land of daring beauty and individual connoisseurial vision."

Designed by Billy Cotton, the Brooklyn home is a blend of English and Italian style filled with colour, chintz, gingham, patterned wallpaper and chandeliers.
Cotton told AD that he wanted to decorate the 19th-century home "as if they'd inherited the home from a kooky Italian nonna with fabulous taste."

Other interesting features include a tiny fixed lamp in the "plain English kitchen", the couple's windowless all-pink bedroom that Allen calls a "womb room", a bathroom that looks like it has come from a Sopranos set complete with a black toilet, a carpeted bath room, and a living room with tiger print carpet and furniture.
"It's all really a reflection of Lily," Cotton told AD. "She has such presence and star quality, you just can't picture her living somewhere boring and conventional."

There is also another lounge room that is referred to as being a space where the couple "argue."
"We have this double-sided sofa which means David and I can argue, and sort of be looking at each other, and relaxing at the same time," she said in the AD video.

Currently on the market with Compass, the four-level home features five bedrooms - the master covering an entire floor - four bathrooms, original period details and a gym.
In the private backyard are two structures built by Swelter, one is a Finnish sauna and the other contains a cold plunge pool that provide a sanctuary for Harbour.

"I love it," he said in the AD video. "It's really a nice little space out here for me."
After getting married in Las Vegas in 2020, the couple purchased the home the following year for $3.4 million (AUD $5.1 million).
Allen has since relocated to London with her two daughters from her previous relationship with Sam Cooper.
