Selling agent, Trever Molenaar from Molenaar and McNeice said the home sold to a local buyer in an off-market sale.
The home had previously been listed for sale in 2022, but failed to find a buyer at the time.
“We knew these buyers were looking, and had been looking in the area for a while, so we matched them up,” Mr Molenaar said.
“They loved the location opposite the beach, and the views are amazing.
“The house itself was split into two separate flats, with two separate leases over it... The new owners will probably bring it back to one house.”
CoreLogic records show the street has registered sales of $3,755,000 and $2.4 million in recent times.
Meanwhile, a three-bedroom apartment in Wollongong has changed hands for $3.2 million.
The listing at 2/10 Harbour Street, Wollongong is located in a boutique complex of eight.

It was listed for sale in March.
Other recent sales in the region have included 16 Haig Street, Wombarra for a reported $6.2 million.
The decision not to take a lower offer at auction seemingly paid off for the owner of the beachfront Wombarra home.
The home failed to sell under the hammer earlier this year, after bidding reportedly went well past the $5 million mark.
Meanwhile, a new suburb price benchmark has been established in the northern Illawarra suburb of Otford.
