He sold the property in 2015 for an undisclosed amount. Property records show the last recorded sale of the penthouse at 94 Seaworld Drive was in 2022 for $2,225 million.
A similar listing in the Five-Star Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, sold for $1,950 million.
The trio of residences are located within the five-star Imperial Hotel Gold Coast, formerly known as Palazzo Versace Gold Coast, at Main Beach overlooking the Southport Broadwater.
Three apartments, one prestige address
The listing comprises three separate two-bedroom apartments within the hotel. They can be purchased individually or as a complete tower.

A key drawcard is the exclusive rooftop entertaining terrace, a rare offering in the building complete with barbecue area, spa and open-air entertaining zones.
The ground-floor residence offers a different style of luxury, with a private pool and courtyard, while the middle-floor apartment pairs elevated views with an 18-metre marina berth.
Fashion-branded icon

Opened on September 15, 2000, the hotel was regarded as the world's first fashion-branded hotel. It features 200 rooms, 72 private apartments, a 600-seat ballroom, bars, restaurants and a Versace retail boutique.
The design and furnishings were overseen by the House of Versace in Milan, while the building was created by Gold Coast architect Desmond Brook of DBI Design.
Developer Soheil Abedian of Sunland Group previously said the vision was to create a hotel that fully embraced the Versace aesthetic, from architecture to interiors. Mr Abedian said "Gianni Versace was a lover of architecture in the first place, a person who used in his fashion all the elements of the Baroque style. ... Also, Versace was the only fashion house at the time that had a home collection and everything that a hotel needed from the porcelain to cutlery, pillows to fabric."
In 2023, Versace did not renew its branding agreement and from August 1 that year the property was rebranded as the Imperial Hotel.
Five-star waterfront living

Residents enjoy access to the hotel's five-star amenities, including manicured waterfront grounds, marina access, fine dining, bars and 24-hour room service.
The property sits moments from Main Beach, Marina Mirage and some of the Gold Coast's most popular dining and lifestyle destinations, offering a blend of resort living and private marina access rarely found in a single address.
