After defeating Carlton, the UFC legend joined the players in a rousing rendition of 'cheer, cheer, the red and the white'.

UFC competitor and former world champion Alexander Volkanovski has sold his Windang home after just a couple of weeks on the market.

This follows the sportsman recently purchasing a 12-bedroom, 50-acre property elsewhere in the region.

The four-bedroom Windang home has direct walking access to Windang Beach.

CoreLogic records show the home sold after just 13 days on the market.

Selling agent, Filipp Lauretti from Molenaar and McNeice said the home sold to an Illawarra buyer, who liked the “space, quality and location”.

“The direct walking track to the beach was a big attraction,” he said

“(That side of the street) is pretty much the best spot in Windang in my opinion.”

Other features of the home include high ceilings, an in-ground swimming pool, and manicured landscaping.

CoreLogic records don’t reveal the sale price, and Mr Lauretti said he was unable to disclose the sale price or provide the price guide during the sales campaign.

However, the price guide was $1.8 million to $2 million.

Mr Lauretti said while the eventual buyer wasn’t from Windang, they had received plenty of interest from those already living in the suburb.

“In terms of what was available on the market, this was a real standout,” he said.

“We had a lot of interest in the home. The interest levels were high.”

CoreLogic records show the home previously sold in March 2020 for $1.2 million.

Volkanovski was contacted for comment.

This news follows Volkanovski’s purchase of an eye-catching, multimillion-dollar home in another part of the Illawarra.

It’s understood the property sold for around its advertised price guide of $4.5 million.

The selling agent recently said the property boasted “magnificent views” and was a “totally secluded trophy property”.

CoreLogic records show the home sold in June after 37 days on the market, and previously sold in 2002 for $410,000.

The former UFC Featherweight Champion’s new digs includes a gym with spectacular views, full man cave with bar and two houses.
