"After 12 months of searching (and a couple we've missed), we've finally found the one," Kyal and Kara posted to Instagram.

"This home has the most incredible bones, and we can't wait to breathe new life into her."

According to Cotality records, the couple recently secured the property for $2.03 million.

Ray White Long Jetty - The Entrance agent Michael Melville oversaw the sale of the home which was offered to market for the first time in 23 years.

The floor plan includes five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a powder room on the ground floor.

There are multiple living areas, including one with a built-in bar, and in-ground swimming pool in the backyard.

The couple has already started planning the design for the two-storey home.

A video tour of the property, posted to Instagram this week, showed the couple armed with tape measures as they unveiled the home in all of its retro glory.

"This is a brand new project and we are deep in the design phase right here," Kyal said.

"Today we checked out the inside of the bones, did a measure up and we're stoked to work out what we're going to do with the layout and how we're going to change things.

"As you can see, it's actually backing onto a golf course and then the beach, so it's in a really unique spot.

"For me, I'm so pumped for this because we are finally going back to doing some renos and we've got these beautiful old bones to work with."

Shelly Beach is one of the Central Coast's most popular surfing beaches, close to The Entrance, Long Jetty and Bateau Bay.

According to Cotality, the median house value in the suburb is $1.679 million.

The couple's last project Bay Builds was a new build comprising two luxury side-by-side duplexes in Long Jetty on the Central Coast.

The couple purchased the block in Long Jetty in April 2021 for $1.31 million and demolished the original shack on-site to construct the luxury duplexes.

Delays with Central Coast Council pushed their plans out after it took more than one year to gain approval for the build.

Each home comprised three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a home office, a wine room and a media room.

The homes featured kitchens with Consentino Taj Mahal Quartzite stone benchtops, while the sprawling main bedrooms each had a walk-in robe, ensuite and balcony access.

A mirror-image floor plan allowed the couple to deliver distinct interior styles, complete with stone feature walls, helical staircases and resort-style backyards, one with a lap pool and the other with a circular pool.

The project was documented in a series of videos on their YouTube channel.

According to Cotality, the two properties at 1/89a Eloora Road and 2/89b Eloora Road sold last year for $2.67 million and $2.64 million, respectively, with Carl Baker and Trevor Hamilton at McGrath Terrigal.

When The Newcastle Herald spoke with the couple, Kara said she had lost count of the number of build projects they have completed since appearing on The Block.

"I actually have no idea how many we have done, but we really should keep track," Kara laughed.

"Between our own projects, The Block and Reno Rumble, The Living Room and client work, we really need to sit down and figure it out."
