The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said someone had become a multi-millionaire and may not have even realised yet.
“While we’ve been unable to confirm the division one win with the winner, we’re sure that when they check their ticket and discover their news they’ll be jumping for joy,” she said.
“We’re encouraging everyone to check their entries because they might be the newly minted multi-millionaire we’re searching for.”
The other division one winning ticket belonged to a NSW player, who also took home $15 million.
More than $12.2 million was won in the draw.
Among those winners were 10 division two winners who each took home a $45,000 prize.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1594 on Tuesday were 43, 35, 9, 38, 32, 8 and 3, while the supplementary numbers were 33, 22 and 46.
