Stop paying checked luggage fees and waiting around the baggage carousel. The Carry-On Queen shares tips on travelling light.

The decision of what to wear can make or break a long haul plane journey. Is it comfy? Too warm, too cold, too revealing?

Well, a flight attendant with six years of experience under her belt has spilled on what not to wear when getting on a plane and offered advice for women considering one item in particular.

The TikToker, who goes by the handle @cherdallas, says you should never wear a romper or one-piece suit — unless, of course, you want to be covered in urine.

“This is a double No-No,” said Cher.

“I would never, never, never wear a romper.”

“Going to the bathroom, that thing is gonna end up on the floor, which is soaked with pee and doesn’t get mopped often.

“I’d love to know an average measurement of how much pee ends up on the floor of the lavatory per hour on a flight but it is probably a lot more than you’d think.

“If you want to drag your top through that, be my guest.”

Cher also went on to say that she would never wear shorts.

“The amount of times that dirty diapers get changed on seats is astonishing, not to mention people vomit, not to mention people are dirty themselves while sitting in the seats — you are asking for ringworm or a staph infection if you wear shorts.”

She also had strong opinions about sandals and thongs, such as Havaianas

“The carpet on the plane is filthy dirty, people vomit on it, people have pets on it people rub their bare feet on it, I would not want my bare feet anywhere near an open exposure to that,” she said.

Cher was also anti tank and tube tops because these could leave you feeling too cold and may come across as too immodest She also said if you’re going to wear a jumper, make sure you have something on underneath, otherwise you could get overheated.

The key, as always, is that it is all about layering.
