It’s a swimsuit: bond-eye, and I wear a lot of Zimmermann. Without stealing Tash Oakley’s (co-founder of Monday Swimwear who had the blog A Bikini A Day) line, I’m definitely a bikini a day. I just love a bikini, whether it’s outwardly seen or functional at the beach — even as lingerie.

What’s the best thing you’ve bought this year?

Two things I’ve bought . . . I haven’t properly worn them yet but I love them. My Valentino heels — I bought them because of the colour — in a teal blue. I’ve worn them once, but I didn’t wear them out, because they’re just so precious.

Also an Isabel Marant belt — anything with hardware. Belts, scarves and sunnies are the greatest way to make an outfit pop.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ignored?

Rest. I’m paying for that, but rest.

What are you better at now than you were 10 years ago?

Cooking. It’s something I’m really picking up now that I have time and I have more than my son to cook for. My boyfriend is an amazing cook, and it’s making me want to cook.

There is something about it, I never had time and Justice and I used to eat at different times given work and school. Watch out MasterChef! I might have to get my friend Melissa Leong to give me some tips.

When did you last completely change your mind about something?

After the Bondi shootings, everything changed. Obviously horrific circumstances that I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but that perspective change of what really matters is so important to life in general and how you live it and to make the most of it.

What’s the last thing that genuinely made you laugh out loud?

I laugh a lot, basically just at myself. Whether it’s just self-deprecating or knowing I’ve done something stupid, I’m laughing out loud but at myself with everyone else laughing at me.

Who’s the most impressive person you’ve ever met?

My boyfriend (Nicholas Nogarotto). His quiet intelligence and his knack for seeing everything for what it is. His support and unwavering commitment to his daughters, I just can’t fault him. He’s an amazing and stand-out human.

What would your younger self not believe about your life now?

That I can do it without external validation.

What would you like to be remembered for?

My energy, how I make people feel and just having a purposeful impact whether it is career, product or an emotion — just making that difference.
