Young man missing after playing in a drain during Cyclone Alfred aftermath
An 18-year-old man has gone missing in Logan Reserve, Queensland, as ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred impacts the region.
7NEWS is reporting Caleb was last seen at a home on Burdekin Rd about 11pm on Sunday, after he had been playing in a drain before heading out again.

He has not been seen or heard from since.
Police say he has a medical condition, and authorities and his carers hold concerns for his welfare.
Millions of Aussies set to receive extra payments
AAP is reporting millions of Australians on welfare will have their payments boosted under indexation changes due to kick in.
More than five million recipients, including pensioners, renters, and job seekers will receive increases from March 20.
The maximum single rate of pension for those on the Age Pension, Disability Support Pension and Carer Payment will increase by $4.60 to $1149.00 a fortnight.
ADF soldiers leaving hospital as PM on way to Lismore
The ADF personnel injured in the horrific crash of two troop carriers during Lismore flood relief efforts, continue to improve leaving only one still in hospital.
Reporter James Wilson told Ben Fordham’s morning show on 2GB that all the troops except one have now been released and will meet with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Monday.
Two separate investigations into the crash are being conducted by the ADF and the NSW Police crash investigation team, who were at Lismore Base Hospital on Sunday interviewing some of the soldiers.
Enoggera Dam spills over as new ‘higher ground’ alerts issued
Queensland Police have issued urgent warnings for anyone in the vicinity of the Enoggera Dam.
The dam is overflowing as rain continues and police have called on residents to warn others to leave as soon as possible.
“An EMERGENCY ALERT – WATCH AND ACT message has been issued for Enoggera Dam from the Brisbane City Council on March 10.
“Council advises PREPARE TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND due to Enoggera Dam increased outflows. Warn others.”
Warning alerts as Gold Coast and northern NSW hammered by Alfred rainfall
The Queensland government continue to issue alerts as over 230,000 properties are without power and flood waters continue to rise.
More beaches in southeast Queensland have been swept away and water levels have risen throughout Sunday night and early Monday morning, as the ex-tropical cyclone Alfred weather front continues to linger.

Residents have been told to move to higher ground away from the water or get ready to leave immediately if the threat worsens.
“If you are near flood waters get up as high as you can where you are,” Queensland Police said on Monday.
