A new poll has revealed Opposition Leader Peter Dutton looks likely to win the yet-to-be-announced Australian election with a clear majority.

The new polling data found that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese would not be able to form a majority government.

The Accent Research and the RedBridge Group survey, reported by NewsCorp, found that the Coalition is primed to win at least nine additional seats in the 2025 election.

NSW is set to be one of the most important states for the Coalition, with five seats potentially flipping.

Victoria is also set to be of key importance to the Liberals, who could pick up an additional seat, with another five currently too tight to make a call on from the polling data.

The survey found that the Coalition can easily win 42 seats across Australia, and it is leading with voters in another 22, totalling 64.

Labor looks likely to win 47 seats, showing a lead in another 12, totalling 59.

The polling data predicted four seats are set to go to the Greens, nine to independents or other parties and 14 were unable to be called due to the close margins.

The survey was conducted with 4909 Australian voters between October 29 and November 20, 2024.
