A leading state One Nation candidate has been slammed for suggesting Australians face demographic replacement at an anti-immigration rally.

Stuart Bonds, who heads the party’s NSW upper house ticket, addressed a crowd donning Australian flags at a march in Sydney’s CBD on Sunday.

“Make no mistake, we are being demographically replaced inside our own nation,” he told attendees after talking about abortion rates in the developed world.

He said the “socialist plan” was to “destroy and bring down and tear down the fabric of your civilisation” pointing to European countries “on fire”.

“And in some weird world, they’re going to rise to the top of the heap, and they’re going to take over and be the rulers of the ruins.”

Federal Labor ministers rubbished the speech as divisive, conspiracy riddled and mathematically nonsensical.

Multicultural Affairs Minister Anne Aly told AAP Australians with migrant backgrounds were not replacing Australians - they simply were Australians.

“Questioning someone’s right to belong because of their race or ancestry is not a debate about immigration. It’s divisive, dangerous and goes against everything we stand for as Australians,” she said.

Assistant Multicultural Affairs Minister Julian Hill, said the speech pushed white supremacist conspiracy theories.

“It’s sadly not surprising a lead One Nation candidate is openly pushing racist, white supremacist conspiracy theories,” he said.

“The ‘great replacement theory’ is a widely discredited far-right, nationalist conspiracy with anti-Semitic roots. It’s also mathematically nonsensical.

“Australians can draw their own conclusions as to why One Nation constantly gets embroiled in issues of race and culture and want to import that kind of chaos and division into our beautiful country.”

Mr Bonds said he feared Australia was on path to become a “special economic zone within Asia” during the short speech.

He likened “stolen land” debates to “white South Africans” and Americans being told they do not belong in their respective countries.

“Yet, in the same vein, we’re expected to believe that an immigrant arriving yesterday is as Australian as you and me. I don’t accept that,” he said.

He concluded by telling attendees “we are one flag, we are one people, we are one nation”, later republishing the speech on Facebook.

Mr Bonds has in the past faced public criticism for his commentary.

Mr Hill previously challenged One Nation leader Pauline Hanson to “sack her d***head” candidate after Mr Bonds questioned a video clip he said showed “two Muslim men in full robes” at a Hunter Valley coal mine.

He asked whether they intended to scout security and explosives locations at the time.

NSW Police said there was no evidence to support any such suggestion.

One Nation NSW has been contacted for comment about Mr Bonds’ latest comments.
