Chaotic scenes unfolded at the Victorian Labor conference on Saturday after protesters made their way inside the building.

Hundreds of Pro-Palestine protesters gathered at the Moonee Valley Racecourse on Saturday morning, armed with signs and megaphones.

They could be seen heckling and shoving people as they attempted to make their way through the crowd to the conference on Saturday morning

Footage posted to X, formerly Twitter, showed hundreds of protesters storm the building, banging on the walls and chanting “Free, free, Palestine”.

Independent senator Lidia Thorpe spoke at the rally while the conference was happening inside.

Protesters also tried to disrupt the conference by chanting pro-Palestine messages through megaphones outside the building.
