The US President’s Truth Social profile has been inundated with dozens of AI-generated images over several hours, many centred on escalating tensions with Iran and portraying America as an unstoppable global force.

Several of the posts appear to reference Iran’s Kharg Island, the country’s most important oil export terminal, while others depict Iranian oil tankers being seized by the United States.

In one repeated series, Mr Trump is shown standing triumphantly atop a tanker waving a giant American flag beneath the caption: “It’s our oil tanker now!”

Three versions of the same image were shared in quick succession, with the scenes becoming increasingly dramatic. One shows Mr Trump alone, another adds armed US soldiers, while a third depicts men in stereotypical Middle Eastern clothing screaming and leaping from the vessel into the sea.

Another AI-generated image proclaims America the “Guardians of the World”, continuing the militaristic theme that dominates much of the President’s latest posting spree.

Not all of the images focus on geopolitics.

Sprinkled throughout the feed are repeated references to “Trump 2028”, reviving speculation about a constitutionally prohibited third presidential run after the President recently joked about the prospect during the White House Correspondents Dinner.

The AI-generated posts then take an increasingly surreal turn.

One of the latest resembles the poster for a Hollywood blockbuster, showing Mr Trump rescuing George Washington from falling off Mount Rushmore as a glowing time portal opens above them.

“The past was about to change. History was about to be saved,” the image declares beneath the title “TRUMP X WASHINGTON: A TIME TRAVEL EPIC.”

Other images portray Mr Trump as a doctor promising to “put the spine back in Republicans”, although whether the message is aimed at party politicians or voters is unclear.

Another depicts a colossal “air filter barrier” stretching across the US-Canada border, while elsewhere an oversized coffee cup emblazoned with “Trump 2028” towers above a crowd of copy-and-pasted protesters.

Former president John F. Kennedy also makes an appearance, standing alongside Mr Trump outside the White House, while another dramatic image featuring lightning over the US Capitol warns of “PANIC IN DC.”

Supporters have long argued the President deliberately posts exaggerated AI-generated images to provoke critics and dominate online conversation.

But while some of the latest posts appear designed to troll opponents, others venture into increasingly fantastical territory, blending military messaging, political branding and alternate history into one of Mr Trump’s most unusual Truth Social posting sprees yet.
