Kamala Harris has reignited speculation about her political future with a new post from her long-dormant campaign account.

Former US vice president Kamala Harris has sparked speculation about her next political move after teasing an announcement on her campaign social media accounts, which have been dormant since the 2024 presidential election.
On Wednesday evening US time, the social media account once used by Ms Harris for her 2024 presidential campaign returned with a playful new post hinting at a Thursday reveal.
The short video showed a device screen attempting to log into the @KamalaHQ account.

The word “TOMORROW” then flashed across the screen, followed by a casual caption: “Hey guys lol.”
With mid-term elections approaching in the US, the move has sparked widespread speculation about Ms Harris’s next steps. Her updated bio, “Providing context,” includes a link to voter registration, fuelling theories that she may be preparing to re-enter the political arena.
The comments on @KamalaHQ were largely enthusiastic on Instagram. “Are we supposed to instantly burst into tears at this or is my system THIS disregulated?” one user asked.
Another wrote, “If I had it my way the announcement would be that there’s proof Harris won, Trump & Musk have been arrested for cheating and that this whole nightmare is over.”
While reactions on X were noticeably more mixed.
Earlier in the week, Ms Harris urged voters to put “guardrails” on US President Donald Trump in the upcoming mid-term elections, warning that public trust in government is eroding.
Speaking during a stop on her book tour at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia, Ms Harris accused the Trump Administration of focusing on “destruction.”
