Karoline Leavitt: Donald Trump’s Press Secretary makes first appearance as youngest ever
The youngest person to ever lean on the lectern as a White House Press Secretary has made her maiden appearance in the famous briefing room and exuded confidence beyond her years.
Karoline Leavitt, the 27-year-old who served as Donald Trump’s national press secretary during the 2024 presidential campaign, made it clear the president’s second coming would be one of the most transparent and accessible terms the world media had ever experienced.
“I can assure you that you’ll be hearing from both him and me as much as possible,” Ms Leavitt said.

“We will not accept that,” she added.
Wasting no time after a brief acknowledgement for the large gathering of seasoned reporters, Ms Leavitt leaned into a range of Trump flagship policies beginning with a focus on illegal immigrants.
“Think again - you will be deported,” Ms Leavitt said.
“The Trump administration has already removed heinous individuals who committed violent crimes,” she added before telling the law enforcement officials on the ground that President Trump “has your back”.
The James S. Brady Press Briefing Room is the most famous media room on the planet, the New Hampshire native fielded questions from a range of reporters and mixed up the pecking order before announcing a shake-up to the system with “podcasters and social media influencers” to be given White House media credentials and access to press conferences.
“That’s because President Trump has a great story to tell, about the legendary American revival that is already underway,” Ms Leavitt said.
“A total of 440 revoked media passes will be invited back, while podcasters and social media influencers will be invited.
When announcing Karoline Leavitt as his new White House Press Secretary, President Trump sounded a ringing endorsement for ms Leavitt.
“She did a phenomenal job,” during the presidential campaign President Trump said when naming her in the role in November.
“Karoline is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator,” he said then in a statement.
“I have the utmost confidence she will excel at the podium, and help deliver our message to the American People as we Make America Great Again.”
