Democratic National Convention day three wrap: Check out all the action from another star-studded day

The Democratic National Convention day three is officially a wrap in Chicago.

Former President Bill Clinton, vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, Governor Josh Shapiro, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi were joined in a surprise visit from Oprah Winfrey.

Tomorrow is the crowning moment, as Vice President Kamala Harris will take the stage to address the convention in a critical moment in the race for the White House.

Minority Leader of the U.S House of Representatives Hakeem Jefffries has taken the stage to pledge his full support for the Harris/Walz partnership.

Jeffries says the road ahead will not be easy and it’s time to talk about ‘you know who’.

‘’Donald Trump is like an old boyfriend you broke up with but just won’t go away.’’

‘’Bro, we broke up with you for reason!’’

‘’There is no reason for us to ever get back together. Been there done that and we are never going back,’’ Jeffires says about Trump.

Jeffries says the Democrats are all about protection for the US and its citizens.

‘’Nothing can stop Kamala Harris from becoming the next President of the United States..’’

Worldwide singing sensation Stevie Wonder has taken the stage and is calling for America to stand above the ‘‘anger’’ and words that divide the country.

A ‘’united people for a truly United States.’’

Wonder called for America to ‘take the higher ground’ and back Kamala Harris and Tim Walz before his band cranked up a soul-stirring version of his famous hit.

Day 3 is underway with Kamala Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, set to deliver the keynote address and accept the vice presidential nomination.

The list of speakers today includes former President Bill Clinton, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi,House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and many others.
