Joe Biden cancer diagnosis: Donald Trump Jr criticised for ‘cover-up’ claim on ex-President’s condition
Donald Trump Jr. has backed right-wing conspiracy theories about former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis which suggested that the Democrat was suffering his illness while still in the White House.
The son of current President Donald Trump appeared to echo his father’s classier sentiments earlier today in wishing Mr Biden well after it was revealed the 82-year-old had been diagnosed with “advanced” prostate cancer which had spread to his bones.
After the news broke Trump Jr. initially posted online that “politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery”.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.But in coming hours as right wing conspiracy theories citing a 2022 video in which Mr Biden talks about having skin cancer began to swirl, Trump Jr.’s stance appeared to change.
Trump Jr. reposted another message from an account suggesting that the advanced nature of the diagnosis meant it was “highly likely” he was suffering from the disease during his time in the White House and that it had been kept from the American public.
He reposted the account on X, asking why the former first lady Jill Biden, despite her doctorate in education, had failed to miss the danger signs on her husband.
“What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???”
Trump Jr. was not the only netizen suggesting such a theory. Another X user claimed: “Advanced prostate cancer takes +10 years to develop ... You’re telling me that the best doctors ... did not find Biden’s cancer in all these years of testing? Bullshit. This is the worst coverup in the history of the presidency.”
Biden’s health has left a question mark over his presidency, particularly after a damning Presidential debate with Mr Trump forced him out of the 2024 US election race.
A new book has also suggested that the true extent of the former President’s mental decline had been hidden by his aides during his tenure, with both Mr and Mrs Biden disputing the claims.
