David Johns is the group digital editor for Seven West Media, overseeing thenightly.com.au, thewest.com.au and PerthNow. David started as a cadet at the South Western Times, working his way up to editor at several Community News mastheads. After a stint in marketing he became a digital editor before re-joining SWM in 2018. He has a passion for quality journalism, music, sport and dad jokes.
