Wheatley told followers to open the built-in Messages app, tap the ‘Edit’ button in the top left corner, and select ‘Show recently deleted’.

From there, users can recover any conversations they choose.

The hack only works on Apple devices.

Wheatley, who recently confirmed she’s split from long-term partner Lachlan Waugh, warned her followers in the caption, “Don’t be naive sis.”

When asked if she was hinting at a personal situation, she replied, “Nah, just want my girlies to be safe.”

Does the iPhone cheating hack work?

Many commenters claimed the discovery tool exposed their partners’ infidelity.

Mum blogger Bella Messina, who has previously faced rumours about her marriage to Adrian Messina, wrote, “Can vouch that this feature can be vvveeerrryyyyy helpful xx.”

Another said, “Exactly how I found mine.”

One woman shared, “This is how I found girls’ names, and I was 40 weeks pregnant,” while another revealed the feature uncovered her partner hiring escorts.

Others simply thanked Wheatley for posting the hack. “This saved my life,” one wrote. “I never would have thought about this,” added another.

While one comment exposed even more ways people hide their sneaky behaviour: “This saved my life. Also check their notes app. You can share a notes app with someone and “collaborate” which means they can just casually have convos there and backspace sentences. Also check their calculator app. It’s a cheating app that’s hidden behind a calculator”.

But what if they have a Samsung phone? one user asked. “well then I can’t help you,” Wheatley responded. With another person revealing, “yep that’s why my ex had a Samsung”.
