2024 Brownlow Medal: Patrick Cripps scores record-breaking votes haul to win second Charlie

Isaac Heeney may dominate the count, but a suspension leaves him ineligible, meaning almost anyone could claim the 111th Brownlow Medal.

Lachie Neale gets three to move to 19.

Nick Daicos grabs two as Patrick Cripps gets three in the same game to break the record for most votes ever.

He has won the medal but Daicos can equal him.

Caleb Serong gets three votes in the second derby and he could still finish second in the count here.

Nick Daicos gets three votes to move to 28, but 36 is already a long way away, even if Cripps gets no more.

Caleb Serong breaches the 20 barrier with three votes in round 19.

Errol Gulden has also moved up to 23 votes for the Swans.

Jack Ginnivan gets his first votes of the night with three against his old club.

And... Cripps all but sews up the medal with another three votes.

Tom Green gets three votes to continue his superb night.

Nick Daicos gets two votes to keep slim hopes of a win alive.

But they are fading as Cripps adds two more.

Caleb Serong doesn’t poll in round 17 and his chances are just about shot.

Isaaz Heeney gets one to move to 22 and there are three Swans in the top six.

Cripps goes to 31 with one vote.

Marcus Bontempelli moves to 13 with three votes but he is miles behind.

Caleb Serong get two votes for Fremantle’s stunning one-point win over Sydney while Nick Daicos grabs a much-needed three votes.

However, Patrick Cripps matches him and he is already on 30 votes.

He only needed 29 to win his first.
