AFL: Fremantle are chasing a sixth straight win as they host a Carlton side under massive pressure on and off the field in their showpiece Len Hall Tribute game.

The Dockers are unchanged from last week’s crushing western derby victory, while they will take on a familiar face as ex-Docker Liam Reidy leads the ruck duties for the Blues.

Carlton have a late out chossing to manage Ollie Hollands after a tough week for the entire Hollands family.

Fremantle are heavy favourites and you’d expect Carlton will need something special to cause an upset though they do possess a strong record at Optus Stadium.

Treacy is fine

He takes a strong contested grab in front of Weitering and converts to grab his second.

Trainers come out to him again but he stays out.

Dockers under a bit of pressure

Carlton have owened the last couple minutes with the ball in their half but their last kick inside 50 has been poor with Alex Pearce and Brennan Cox taking intercept marks,

Treacy is down

He reaches out to contest the ball but the Carlton defender runs straight into his arm and he’s down in pain.

But he gets up and waves the trainer away and he’s staying out there for now.

He’s taking some pain tablets but he was’t happy when he went for a mark which he contested one-handed and shook afterwards.

Treacy’s on the board

Carlton defence all at see as they fail to communicate the handover as Josh Treacy leaps to effectively take an uncontested mark and convert.

Dockers dominating clearance

They’ve won eight to zip so far with Luke Jackson as expected dominating.

The Blues’ defence have well enough to get the numbers back but it’s not a sustainable model.

McGovern responds

Poor turnover from Shai Bolton across half back as the Blues attack read it well and a bouncing kick beats Cox, allowing McGovern to tap it in from the goal square.

Amiss picks up where he left off

Off a career best five goals in the derby he wins a holding free kick just forward of the goal square and converts to get the Dockers on the board.

Here we go

Cox started forward for Voss with Jackson against Reidy in the ruck.

They both fall over but Hayden Young finds Chapman as the Dockers go forward of centre but there’s a stoppage.

Lest we forget

In the 29th Len Hall Tribute game, here’s what it means to our veterans.

Carlton explains Hollands call.

Carlton forwards coach Josh Fraser said the Blues coaching staff and leadership group decided it was in Holland’s best interests not to play.

“It was a situation where Ollie was really keen to play,” Fraser told ABC Radio.

“After the week that he’s had and through the leadership of the club we just decided that it might be best for him to miss this game.

“He was keen to play and be around the group and it was really just a late call to give himself every opportunity to keep himself fresh and healthy for next week.”
