Fremantle are firm favourites to notch a third consecutive victory when they clash with Shai Bolton’s old side Richmond in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

Career best!

Treacy has his career-best with a sixth major.

Another score out of the defensive half for Fremantle as Ryan, Brayshaw and Frederick get involved.

Showtime Shai!

Bolton finally gets a goal against his old team at the third time of asking.

The Dockers’ pressure has been great out of the break and Bolton’s major adds to Treacy kicking his fifth and Fredericks his first.

HALFTIME: Richmond 6.3 39, Fremantle 7.7 49

The longer the half went the more the young Tigers showed their youth after a very bright start.

Overall, Longmuir will be disappointed with his side not making the most of their chances and struggling a little in the middle.

But Treacy is a storm all of his own in the forward half and is keeping the Tiger under immense pressure and allowing Shai Bolton to find space.

Jacob Hopper leads all-comers for possessions while Brayshaw has been the Dockers’ best ball winner.

From range!

The Dockers are back in front and Hayden Young is back.

The chain started with Voss shrugging off a tackle with pure power before the engine room hit overdrive.

Frederick was all alone inside 50 for an age but Young took the space and found himself in range and took full toll with a long-range bomb.

ICYMI

Steely by name, electric by nature!

WA’s Steely Green has snagged a ripper for the Tigers.

Lead changes

Tom Lynch slots a set shot to start the second quarter and we have a contest on our hands.

Brayshaw is working his butt off to influence multiple contests but Fremantle’s last disposal is letting them down.

A missed quick here and a slow handball there is keeping the young Tigers in the match.

QUARTER TIME: Fremantle 4.4 (28), Richmond 4.2 (25)

An entertaining and even start as Richmond show they’re up for the fight today!

Murphy Reid adds a late goal through a forward-pocket free kick to give Freo the advantage, but they’d be keen to iron out a few kinks at the break.

Treacy was electric with three goals and six marks in the forward half, while Bolton and Young were super active in helping get the ball in there.

The Dockers will be keen to help get Serong going, with some sharp attention from the likes of McIntosh and Taranto limiting the Brownlow contender to just four touches and a solitary clearance.

Shai flies!

Bolton soars over Vlastuin! He can’t complete the spectacular mark, but earns the free - before spraying the kick into the forward pocket out on the full.

Richmond have added a goal and have a 25-21 lead in a free-flowing start. 6 minutes remain until the first change.

Shai sizzling

Any thought of Shai Bolton being nervous against his old side - or at least showing it - is incorrect.

The recruit has six touches inside the first half of the opening quarter and is all sorts of active.

Switkowski’s set shot from range falls short but the rushed behind restores Freo’s lead. It’s 20-19 halfway through Q1.

TREACY ON FIRE

Somebody get a bucket of water to douse Josh Treacy!

The spearhead has got THREE in quick time and is giving Ben Miller all sorts of problems. What a start from the big man!
